Sop Tulang Sapi (Beef Bone Soup)
Ingredients:
- 1 beef bone (ankle/shank)
- 1 carrot
- 1 potato
- 1 bunch of scallions and celery
- 1 tomato
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 5 shallots
- 1/4 onion
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1.5 liters of water
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil for sautéing
- Fried shallots, for garnish
Preparation Steps:

- Peel and wash the potato, carrot, scallions, and celery. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Halve the tomato, and set aside.

- In a large pot, place the beef bone and add water.
- Add salt, sugar, crushed ginger, and chopped onion.
