Steak Daging Sapi

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of beef
  • Flour seasoning, as needed
  • Ground pepper, as needed
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 carrots, sliced lengthwise
  • 2 potatoes, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 red chili pepper, sliced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in water
  • Sweet soy sauce, to taste
  • Chili sauce, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Beef: Start by boiling the beef slices with salt and ground pepper until tender. Once cooked, remove from heat, drain, and allow to cool slightly.

  2. Flatten the Beef: Once cooled, gently pound the beef slices until they are flat and even.

  3. Prepare the Coating: Dip the flattened beef slices into the beaten eggs, then coat them thoroughly with seasoned flour.

  4. Fry the Beef: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the coated beef slices until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. Sauté the Aromatics: In a separate pan, sauté the chopped red onion, minced garlic, and chopped onion until fragrant.

  8. Prepare the Accompaniments: Fry the sliced potatoes until crispy, resembling matchsticks, and boil the sliced carrots until tender.
