Rendang Telur: A Hearty Indonesian Egg Stew

Ingredients:

  • 5 large eggs (chicken eggs)
  • Firm tofu (optional)
  • Potatoes (optional)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Ground coriander (optional)
  • Soy sauce (to taste)
  • 1 sachet of rendang spice mix
  • Thick coconut milk

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Fry the Potatoes and Tofu: Begin by peeling and cutting the potatoes into chunks. Fry them in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through. If using tofu, cut it into cubes and fry until crispy. Once done, set them aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
