Spinach and Sausage Egg Omelet for Kids

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 sausages, sliced
  • 2 cheese sticks, sliced
  • Fresh spinach, washed and roughly chopped
  • Mushroom seasoning powder (or substitute with sugar and salt to taste)
  • 1 cup vanilla milk
  • Butter or margarine, as needed for greasing the pan

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the beaten eggs, sliced sausages, cheese sticks, and chopped spinach. Season with mushroom seasoning powder (or a mix of sugar and salt if preferred). Add the vanilla milk and stir well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or margarine to coat the pan.

  3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, spreading it evenly. Cook until the omelet is fully set and lightly golden brown on the bottom, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Gently flip the omelet and cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.

  5. Remove from the skillet and cut into pieces suitable for serving. Enjoy warm!

This easy and nutritious omelet is perfect for packing in your child’s lunchbox and offers a delicious way to include vegetables and proteins in their diet.
