Ingredients
For the Tahu Telor:
- 2 large eggs
- 2 pieces of firm tofu (white tofu), cubed or crumbled

- 1 handful of bean sprouts (taoge), cleaned and trimmed
For the Peanut Sauce:
- 1 handful of roasted peanuts
- 2 cloves of fried garlic
- 3 small red chilies (cabe rawit), adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste (terasi)
- Soy sauce (kecap) to taste
- Water as needed
For Garnishing:
- Bean sprouts, blanched until slightly tender
- Fried shallots (bawang goreng)
- Additional green onions (optional)
- Celery leaves (optional)

Prepare the Tahu Telor:
- In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and beat them well. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Add the crumbled or cubed tofu to the eggs. You may also cut the tofu into small cubes if preferred.
- Incorporate the finely chopped green onions into the mixture.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour the egg and tofu mixture into the pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Cook the mixture until the egg is fully set and the tofu is lightly golden. Flip carefully if necessary to ensure even cooking on both sides. Once done, transfer it to a plate.

- Stir in soy sauce to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed and add more soy sauce if you prefer a stronger flavor.
