Fresh tomatoes 500 g (approx. 1.1 lbs)
Onion (large) 1
Garlic cloves 1
Tomato sauce As needed
Oregano To taste

Instructions

Step Instructions
1 Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and toss with a bit of butter or oil to prevent sticking.
2 Steam the fresh tuna fillet until partially cooked, then dice it into small cubes.
3 Finely chop the onion and roughly mince or grate the garlic. Sauté both in butter or oil until fragrant and golden.
4 Boil the fresh tomatoes until soft. Once cooked, blend them into a smooth tomato sauce.
5 Add the blended tomato sauce to the sautéed onions and garlic. Allow it to simmer until it thickens slightly, then add the diced tuna.
6 Stir in the tomato sauce, along with salt, sugar, and oregano to taste. Simmer the sauce until the tuna is fully cooked and all the flavors meld together.
7 To serve, plate the spaghetti and generously top with the tuna sauce. Finish by sprinkling grated cheese over the dish.
