Ingredients:

Onion
1 Roma tomatoes
2 cloves Garlic
2 Green chili peppers
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 Monterey Jack pepper cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Heat olive oil in a pan.
    • Sauté onion, garlic, and tomato for about 3 minutes or until tender. Set the mixture aside.
  2. Cooking:

    • Preheat the oven to broil.
    • Cut green chile into long strips and set aside.

    • Broil the steaks (if they’re thin cuts, broil for 3-4 minutes) on one side.
    • Remove from the oven and place the mixture of tomato, onion, and garlic evenly on the unbroiled side of the steaks.
    • Top with 2-3 strips of green chile.
    • Place a slice of cheese on top of each steak, ensuring to cover the mixture and green chile strips with the cheese slice.
    • Broil until the steak is done and the cheese is melted, which should take about 3 minutes.

    • Serve hot and enjoy!
