Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Start by preheating your oven to 160°C (320°F) in static mode.
  2. Prepare the Batter:

    • In a large mixing bowl, place the softened butter and sugar. Use a hand mixer or whisk to beat them together until creamy and smooth.
    • Sift the all-purpose flour and pistachio flour into the bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the butter-sugar mixture until well combined.
    • Add the egg and whole milk to the mixture and continue mixing until the batter is smooth and uniform.
    • Finally, sift the baking powder into the batter and fold it in gently.
  3. Prepare the Molds:

    • Butter 6 mini cake molds, each about 10 cm long and 6 cm wide. Place the molds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Spoon the batter into each mold, filling them about halfway or slightly more, ensuring each mold gets an even amount of batter.
  4. Baking the Mini Cakes:

    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the mini cakes for about 45 minutes or until they are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    • Once baked, remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to cool in the molds for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

    • Spread 9 grams of Nutella® on one half of each cake.
    • Place the other half of the cake on top to form a sandwich.

    • For the other half, spread an additional 4 grams of Nutella® on top.
