Ingredients:

  • 4-6 boneless pork chops
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Pound chops between sheets of plastic wrap with flat side of meat mallet.
2 Cut meat into bite-sized pieces.
3 Mix flour, salt, and pepper.
4 Dip pieces in flour mixture.
5 Cut 6-8 paper-thin slices of lemon. Set aside.
6 Squeeze remaining lemon for juice (you should have about 1/4 cup).
7 Brown pork pieces in olive oil and remove from pan.
8 Pour in 1/2 cup of broth and deglaze pan. Turn heat down to simmer, return meat to pan, and place lemon slices on top of meat.
9 Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
10 Remove lemon slices and discard.
11 Remove meat from pan and keep warm.
12 Add remaining broth, simmer for about 5 minutes, then add lemon juice. Simmer a little longer; add a small blob of butter to the pan and swirl.
13 This adds a nice gloss to the sauce.
14 Return meat to pan to warm.

Enjoy the tantalizing aroma and succulent flavors of this Pork Piccata dish, perfect for any occasion. Bon appétit! 🍴
