The Spiced Bottle Gourd and Spinach Juice, also known as “The Green Flush,” is a refreshing, health-boosting green juice. Packed with chlorophyll from bottle gourd, spinach, cucumber, and ginger, this juice not only lowers acidity but also helps balance the body’s pH levels. It’s an excellent way to start your day with a nutrient-packed drink!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bottle gourd (lauki), peeled, deseeded, and cut into cubes
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup Spinach leaves (palak), washed and picked
  • 1/2 Cucumber, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cumin seeds (jeera)
  • Black Salt (kala namak), to taste
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • Water, as needed

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing all your ingredients. Wash the spinach and cucumber, peel and cut the bottle gourd, and chop the ginger.
  2. In a blender, add the bottle gourd, spinach, cucumber, ginger, cumin seeds, black salt, lemon juice, and a little water.
  3. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning—add more black salt or cumin if necessary.
  5. Add water to adjust the consistency of the juice to your preference.
  6. Chill the juice in the refrigerator, or serve immediately for a fresh, energizing drink.
  7. Serve this spiced bottle gourd and spinach juice in the morning, before breakfast, for an invigorating start to your day.
