Sausage-Stuffed Rolled Eggs

Rolled Eggs with Sausage (Telur Gulung Isi Sosis)

Ingredients:

  • 1 sausage (chicken or beef, according to preference)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Eggs:
    In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs lightly. Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.

  2. Cook the First Layer:
    Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter, spreading it evenly across the pan. Pour a portion of the beaten eggs into the skillet, ensuring they cover the surface in a thin, even layer.

  3. Add the Sausage:
    Place the sausage at one edge of the egg layer. Roll the egg gently around the sausage to form a log shape. Push this rolled egg to one side of the skillet.

  4. Add More Egg:
    Pour a little more beaten egg into the skillet, allowing it to spread and cook underneath the already formed egg roll. Roll the new egg layer over the previous roll, continuing to form a log shape. Push it to one side again.

  5. Repeat the Process:
    Continue adding beaten eggs and rolling until all the egg mixture is used up. Ensure each layer is well-cooked and golden brown.

  6. Finish and Serve:
    Once all the egg mixture is cooked and has a nice golden-brown color, remove from the skillet. Slice into pieces and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious and savory rolled eggs with sausage!
