Sautéed Beef in Onion Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz (about 42 grams) of beef sirloin, cleaned and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Soy sauce, to taste (for coloring)
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or sesame seeds for garnish
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:

  1. Sauté Aromatics: Begin by melting the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and garlic, cooking until they are fragrant and softened.

  2. Cook the Beef: Add the sliced beef to the pan. Season with black pepper, lemon juice, soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir well to ensure that the beef is evenly coated with the seasonings.

  3. Simmer: Pour in the water, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer until the beef is fully cooked and tender. Adjust the seasoning to taste if needed.

  4. Finish and Serve: If using, add the chopped green onions or sprinkle sesame seeds before serving. Stir briefly, then remove from heat.

  5. Serve with Love: Transfer the sautéed beef to a serving dish and present with a touch of love. Enjoy!

This recipe combines the savory flavors of tender beef with the aromatic depth of onions and garlic, creating a delightful dish that’s perfect for any meal.
