Stir-Fried Beans with Tofu
Ingredients:
- 3 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cm galangal
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 pieces of firm tofu, diced
- 250 grams young green beans, sliced
Instructions:
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped shallots and garlic, and sauté until they become aromatic.
- Add the sliced galangal and bay leaves to the pan. Stir well to combine and release their flavors.
- Introduce the sliced green beans and diced tofu to the pan. Stir everything together and add a small amount of water to help the cooking process.
- Season with sugar and salt according to your taste. Continue to stir and cook until the green beans are tender.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy this flavorful dish as a delightful accompaniment or a satisfying main course.
