Beef Teriyaki Recipe
Ingredients:
- 300 grams beef (thinly sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cm ginger
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- Sugar, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion (sliced to your preference)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Marinade: Start by finely grinding the garlic and ginger. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef with the ground garlic and ginger. Add the sweet soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, a pinch of sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until the beef is well-coated with the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and penetrate the meat.
-
Cook the Beef: Heat the butter in a pan over low heat. Once the butter is melted, add the marinated beef to the pan. Cook the beef, stirring occasionally, until it is halfway cooked.
-
Add the Onion: When the beef is partially cooked, add half of the sliced onion to the pan. Stir well to mix the onion with the beef. Continue cooking until the beef is fully cooked and tender, and the flavors are well-blended.
-
Finish and Serve: Once the beef is cooked and the marinade has reduced, add the remaining sliced onion to the pan. Stir until the onion is slightly softened. Remove from heat and drain any excess liquid.
-
Enjoy: Serve your delicious Beef Teriyaki hot and enjoy the rich, savory flavors!
Happy Cooking! 😊
