Beef Udon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of frozen udon noodles, boiled in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drained
  • 100 grams of thinly sliced beef
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Water, enough for one serving
  • To taste: sugar, salt, chicken bouillon powder, ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • For garnish:
    • Blanched bok choy (cooked separately in the broth)
    • Chili flakes

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Thinly slice the beef and simmer it in a pot with a pinch of ground pepper and salt until tender. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Broth:

    • In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
    • Add enough water to the pan to create a broth. Season with sesame oil, sugar, salt, chicken bouillon powder, and ground pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
  3. Assemble the Dish:

    • Arrange the cooked udon noodles on serving plates.
    • Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
    • Top with slices of the cooked beef and add the blanched bok choy.
  4. Garnish and Serve:

    • Sprinkle chili flakes over the top for a bit of heat.
    • Serve the dish warm and enjoy!
