  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • Salt, sugar, pepper, and mushroom broth powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Water as needed

Steps

  1. Marinate the Beef: Combine 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, sesame oil, teriyaki sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, and chicken broth powder in a bowl. Add the beef and mix well. Let the beef marinate in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. Stir-Fry Vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. SautΓ© the garlic until fragrant, then add the red and green bell peppers. Pour in a little water and cook until the peppers become aromatic.

  3. Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the pan along with the coarsely ground black pepper. Pour in a bit more water and stir well. Cook until the beef is halfway done.

  4. Add Onion: Incorporate the chopped onion into the pan. Add 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce. Adjust the taste by adding salt, sugar, pepper, and mushroom broth powder as needed.

  5. Thicken the Sauce: To thicken the sauce, mix a bit of water with cornstarch to create a slurry. Add this mixture to the pan and stir until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

  6. Finish Cooking: Continue to cook until the sauce bubbles and the beef is fully cooked. Remove from heat.

  7. Serve: Serve the Black Pepper Beef hot. Enjoy this savory and peppery dish with steamed rice for a delightful meal.
