Black Pepper Chicken (Ayam Kecap Lada Hitam)

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams chicken, cut into pieces
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (kecap inggris)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with minced garlic and ginger. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the spices. Let it marinate for 2 minutes.

  2. Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Fry the marinated chicken pieces until they are thoroughly cooked and golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
