  • 1 calf liver
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 onions
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Salt and pepper liver strips and dip in egg, then roll in cracker crumbs. Place in hot oil until done; drain.
2 Pour off excess oil, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pan. Add onions and cook until tender. Remove onions from the pan.
3 Add flour to the remaining oil in the pan and brown to make a gravy. Gradually add enough water to thicken the gravy to your desired consistency.
