Stuffed Toast with Egg and Sausage

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 sausage
  • A few lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Toast: Begin by spreading the margarine evenly on one side of each slice of bread. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and toast the bread, margarine side down, until golden and crisp. Set aside.

  2. Cook the Egg and Sausage: In the same skillet, cook the egg to your liking, whether sunny side up or scrambled. Slice the sausage and cook it until browned and heated through.

  3. Assemble the Sandwich: On one slice of toasted bread, spread the tomato ketchup and chili sauce evenly. Layer with lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and cucumber slices.
