Pindang Telur (Simple Recipe)

Ingredients

Hard-boiled eggs (peeled) 6 eggs
Tea bag 1 tea bag
Sweet soy sauce 1 tablespoon
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Grated palm sugar 1 tablespoon
Granulated sugar 1/2 tablespoon
Chicken broth powder 1 packet
Lemongrass 1 stalk
Kaffir lime leaves 2 leaves
Salt To taste
Water Enough to cover eggs

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine the hard-boiled eggs, tea bag, sweet soy sauce, garlic powder, grated palm sugar, granulated sugar, chicken broth powder, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and salt.
  2. Add enough water to cover the eggs completely.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the water evaporates and the eggs take on a rich brown color.
  4. Once the liquid is reduced and thickened, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your flavorful Pindang Telur!
