  • 1 pound small shrimp 🍀
  • 1/2 pound fettuccine pasta 🍝

Instructions:

Step Description
Chop onion and garlic until finely minced.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Sautee onion and garlic in butter for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Add cream cheese and melt it into the mixture.
Whisk in the heavy whipping cream until well combined.
Add parsley, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low.
Simmer the sauce for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
While the sauce simmers, peel and devein the uncooked small shrimp, setting them aside.
Fill a small bowl with hot water and place the cooked popcorn shrimp in it to heat them up.
About 10 minutes before the Alfredo sauce is done, add the uncooked shrimp to it.
Once the shrimp are cooked, remove the sauce from the stove and stir in the parmesan cheese.
Cook 1 pound of fettuccine pasta according to package instructions.
Once cooked, drain the pasta and place it in a large serving bowl.
Sprinkle the popcorn shrimp over the pasta and pour the Alfredo sauce over it (reserving some sauce to add to each plate).
Gently mix the pasta and sauce together, ensuring it’s evenly coated, and serve hot.
