Stir-Fried Beef with Orange Bell Pepper Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 150 grams of high-quality beef, sliced
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
  • A small piece of ginger, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 200 ml water
  • Salt and sugar, to taste
  • Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Rinse the beef thoroughly under cold water. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and the sliced onion. Sprinkle in the cornstarch and mix well until the beef is evenly coated with the marinade. Let it sit for approximately 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  2. Cook the Aromatics:

    • Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the sliced orange bell pepper and crushed ginger, cooking until the peppers start to soften and become aromatic.
  3. Stir-Fry the Beef:

    • Add the marinated beef to the skillet. Stir-fry until the beef is evenly browned and the aroma of the spices fills the kitchen.
  4. Add Liquid and Seasoning:

    • Pour in the water and continue to stir until the sauce begins to thicken. Season with salt and sugar to taste. If needed, adjust the flavor with additional sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, or oyster sauce to your preference.
  5. Finish and Serve:

    • Once the beef is fully cooked and tender, remove from heat. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
