Ingredients:

  • 500g beef
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 heads of broccoli
  • Rice (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Begin by starting to boil the rice so that once everything is done, the rice is cooked and ready to serve.
    • Marinate the beef in soy sauce, white wine, and salt. Allow it to marinate for at least 1 hour, or longer if preferred.
  2. Cooking:

    • Heat oil in a wok over high heat.
    • Once the wok is very hot, quickly stir-fry the marinated beef in it, for no more than 3 minutes. Ensure the beef is evenly cooked and tender.
    • Transfer the cooked beef to a spare plate.
  3. Preparing Broccoli:

    • Add broccoli to the wok along with 1/2 cup of water and the sugar.
    • Reduce the heat to medium, cover the wok, and let the broccoli cook for about 6 minutes.
    • Lift the cover occasionally to stir the broccoli, ensuring even cooking.
    • After 6 minutes, the broccoli should be just cooked through. If needed, cook for an additional minute or two until desired tenderness is reached.
  4. Combining:

    • Once the broccoli is cooked, add the cooked beef back to the wok.
    • Stir everything together, ensuring the beef and broccoli are well combined and evenly coated with the sauce.
  5. Serving:

    • Place the cooked rice on a presentation plate.
    • Arrange the broccolied beef on top of the rice, creating an enticing and flavorful meal.

Enjoy your delicious Broccolied Beef! 🍽️
