Stir-Fried Broccoli with Tofu and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
- 1/2 medium-sized broccoli head
- 2 pieces of tofu (typically used for claypot dishes)
- A handful of fresh black ear mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- Soy sauce, to taste
- Cooking oil
- Water, as needed
Instructions:

Prepare the Broccoli:
- Cut the broccoli into florets and wash thoroughly. Blanch the broccoli in hot water briefly, then drain and set aside.

Prepare the Mushrooms:
- Slice the black ear mushrooms according to your preference and wash them well. Set aside.

Prepare the Tofu:
- Cut the tofu into thick slices (about 6 pieces from one block). Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan and fry the tofu until it develops a crispy golden-brown skin. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Sauté the Garlic:
- In the same pan, add a little oil and sauté the smashed garlic until fragrant.

Add Mushrooms:
- Add the black ear mushrooms to the pan and cook until they start to soften.

Combine Ingredients:
- Add the fried tofu to the pan, along with a small amount of water. Stir in the oyster sauce, sesame oil, and soy sauce, and mix well.

Add Broccoli:
- Gently add the blanched broccoli to the pan. Stir everything together briefly to combine and adjust the seasoning to your taste.

- Once the broccoli is heated through and the flavors are well-mixed, remove from heat. Serve hot and enjoy!
