Stir-Fried Green Beans with Carrots and Egg
Ingredients:
- 1 package green beans
- 2 carrots, julienned and boiled
- 1 egg
- 3 red chilies
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 shallots
- Oyster sauce to taste
- Soy sauce to taste (use less soy sauce if preferred)
Instructions:
- Begin by preparing the aromatics: thinly slice the red chilies, onion, garlic, and shallots. Heat a pan over medium heat and stir-fry these ingredients until fragrant and softened.
- Once the aromatics are cooked, set them aside. In the same pan, scramble the egg until fully cooked and set aside.
- Combine the pre-cooked vegetables (green beans and carrots), scrambled egg, and the sautéed aromatics in the pan. Mix well.
- Add a splash of oyster sauce and a small amount of water to the pan. Cook everything together until well-blended and heated through.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Once the dish is cooked, remove it from the heat.
- Serve hot, as the egg may have a slight odor if left to cool. Enjoy your stir-fried green beans with carrots and egg!
