Roti Kasur Isi Daging Sapi Recipe
Ingredients:

For the Dough:
- 500 grams all-purpose flour
- 50 grams cornstarch
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 packet powdered milk
- 120 ml liquid milk
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 large egg

For the Egg Wash:
- 2 tablespoons liquid milk
- 1 tablespoon melted butter

For the Filling:
- 100 grams ground beef
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- Oil for cooking
- Sesame seeds, for sprinkling

Prepare the Dough:
- Dissolve the instant yeast in the liquid milk and let it sit for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy. Add the granulated sugar and stir until dissolved.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Add the powdered milk and mix well.
- Gradually pour in the yeast mixture, stirring until combined. Add the egg and melted butter, and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until it has doubled in size.

Prepare the Filling:
- Heat a small amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic and sliced onion until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the ground beef and diced carrot. Cook until the beef is browned and the carrot is tender.
- Season with salt, sugar, oyster sauce, and sweet soy sauce. Stir well and cook until the filling is well-mixed and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble the Buns:
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into small balls weighing approximately 35 grams each.
- Flatten each dough ball and place a spoonful of the beef filling in the center. Gather the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch to seal. Shape into a smooth ball.
- Arrange the filled dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush each bun with the milk and melted butter mixture, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Let the buns rise again for 30 minutes until puffy.

- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the buns for 30 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush with additional melted butter. Return to the oven for an extra 15 minutes to achieve a golden, crispy exterior.
- Allow the buns to cool on a wire rack before serving.
