Southwestern Chicken Wraps Recipe

๐Ÿ•’ Total Time: 20 minutes
๐Ÿฅ˜ Servings: 5 wraps
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Yield: Varies

Ingredients:

  • 1 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 5 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup Southwestern seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Prep Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Cook Chicken: Add the chicken breast to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and allow it to cool.

  3. Prepare Dressing: In a large bowl, combine the Southwestern seasoning mix, mayonnaise, and dressing until well mixed.

  4. Mix Ingredients: Dice the cooled chicken breast and add it to the dressing mixture. Also, add in the diced celery, red bell pepper, and finely chopped green onion. Toss everything well to coat evenly.

  5. Assemble Wraps: Place a scoop of the chicken mixture onto each flour tortilla.

  6. Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken mixture on each tortilla.

  7. Fold Wraps: Fold the sides of each tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.

  8. Serve: Depending on how generously you fill the tortillas, you should be able to make 5-10 wraps with this recipe.
