Description:

Indulge in the delightful flavors of fall with these irresistible Pumpkin Brownies! Perfectly spiced and incredibly moist, these brownies are a must-try treat for any occasion, from Thanksgiving gatherings to cozy family nights. With a delectable cream cheese frosting, they’re sure to become a new favorite dessert in your home.

Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
16 oz Pumpkin
4 Eggs
3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 cups Sugar
2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Butter, softened
6 oz Cream Cheese
3 tsp Vanilla Extract (for icing)
1/3 cup Milk (for icing)
1 cup Powdered Sugar (for icing)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the pumpkin, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.

  2. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until fully incorporated and the batter is smooth.

  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 15″ x 10″ x 1″ baking pan.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

  5. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. While the brownies are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and creamy.

  7. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition, until the frosting is smooth and spreadable.

  8. Once the brownies are done baking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan.

  9. Once cooled, frost the brownies with the cream cheese icing, spreading it evenly over the top.

  10. For easier slicing, refrigerate the frosted brownies for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

  11. Store any leftover brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes:

  • These Pumpkin Brownies are best enjoyed chilled, straight from the refrigerator.
  • For an extra festive touch, sprinkle some chopped nuts or cinnamon on top of the frosting before serving.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon to suit your taste preferences.
  • You can also add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the brownie batter for added texture and flavor.
  • Get creative with the frosting by adding a dash of maple syrup or caramel extract for a delicious twist.
  • These brownies are perfect for sharing at potlucks, bake sales, or holiday gatherings. Enjoy every bite of these scrumptious treats! 🍂🍁
