Stir-Fried Beef Meatballs with Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 10 beef meatballs, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams button mushrooms, sliced (or to taste)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 shallots, sliced
  • 10 bird’s eye chilies, sliced
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped (to taste)
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • Sugar and salt, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Thoroughly wash all the ingredients. Slice the beef meatballs and mushrooms. Mince the garlic, slice the shallots, and bird’s eye chilies. Chop the tomato and green onion.

  2. Heat the Pan: Preheat a pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil if necessary.

  3. Sauté Aromatics: Add the minced garlic, sliced shallots, and bird’s eye chilies to the pan. Sauté until fragrant.

  4. Cook the Meatballs: Add the sliced beef meatballs to the pan. Stir-fry until they start to brown.

  5. Add Mushrooms: Incorporate the sliced mushrooms into the pan. Continue to stir-fry, mixing well with the meatballs and aromatics.

  6. Season the Dish: Season with sugar and salt to taste. Add a splash of water if needed to create a bit of sauce. Stir and cook until the mushrooms are tender and the meatballs are cooked through.

  7. Finish with Sauces: Pour in the sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir well to combine all the flavors.

  8. Garnish and Serve: Once everything is well-mixed and cooked, sprinkle chopped green onions on top. Serve hot with rice or as desired.
