Daging Sapi Lada Hitam (Black Pepper Beef)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg beef, sliced
- 250 ml beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 sachet of black pepper sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Coconut oil, for sautéing and frying
Instructions:
- Prepare the Beef: Cut the beef into slightly thick, wide slices. Boil the beef in a pressure cooker until tender.
- Flatten and Fry: Once tender, flatten the beef slices with a meat tenderizer and fry briefly in a little coconut oil.
- Sauté the Aromatics: In a pan, sauté the sliced onion and minced garlic in coconut oil until fragrant.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the fried beef slices to the pan. Pour in the black pepper sauce and the reserved beef broth (from boiling the beef).
- Season and Simmer: Add salt to taste and the sliced tomato. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer until the liquid has reduced and thickened slightly.
- Adjust and Serve: Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve the black pepper beef hot.
