Tempe Tahu Goreng Rempah

Ginger A small piece

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Spice Paste: In a blender, combine shallots, garlic, coriander, lemongrass, candlenuts, ginger, turmeric, salt, sugar, and seasoning. Blend until smooth, then add water to achieve a pourable consistency. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed for a well-balanced flavor.

  2. Marinate: Place the cut tempeh and tofu into a bowl and coat them thoroughly with the spice paste. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors permeate.

  3. Coat with Rice Flour: After marinating, sprinkle the rice flour over the tempeh and tofu mixture. Toss gently until each piece is well coated.
