Uncle Bill’s Caesar – Canadian Style

Description:

Discover the iconic Canadian Caesar drink with a twist of horseradish for that extra “pezzaz”! Originally enjoyed in Kelowna, B.C., this refreshing cocktail has been a favorite for years.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 fresh lemon
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1 tsp horseradish
  • 1 cup Clamato juice
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1 celery rib

Instructions:

  1. Rub the rim of a glass with fresh lemon.
  2. Spread celery salt onto a flat saucer and turn the glass in it to coat the rim.
  3. In the prepared glass, combine vodka, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, horseradish, Clamato juice, and Tabasco sauce. Stir well to blend.
  4. Garnish with a celery rib, pickled bean, or pickled asparagus spear.
  5. Enjoy slowly!

Notes:

  • For an extra kick, try using spicy Clamato juice.
  • Pickled spicy beans or pickled asparagus spears make excellent garnishes for this flavorful drink.
