Ayam Geprek Sambel Matah

Ingredients:

  • 1 fried chicken (ayam geprek)
  • Sambel Matah Ingredients:
    • 4 shallots
    • 10 red bird’s eye chilies
    • 1 stalk lemongrass
    • 4 kaffir lime leaves
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar to taste
    • Seasoning to taste
    • Hot oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sambel Matah:

    • Thinly slice the shallots and red chilies.
    • Lightly crush these ingredients using a stone grinder or mortar and pestle.
    • Slice the lemongrass into thin rounds and finely shred the kaffir lime leaves.
  2. Cook the Sambel Matah:

    • Heat some oil in a pan until it’s very hot.
    • Add the sliced shallots, red chilies, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves to the pan.
