Lazy Omelette (Telur Dadar Malas)
Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized eggs
- Oil for frying (as needed)
- 2 teaspoons rice flour
Spices:
- 20 red bird’s eye chilies
- 4 cloves garlic
- 5 shallots
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- A pinch of MSG (optional)
- 3/4 teaspoon salt

Prepare the Spices:
- Finely chop the bird’s eye chilies, garlic, and shallots.

Mix the Ingredients:
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, chopped spices, rice flour, ground pepper, MSG (if using), and salt.
- Beat the mixture with a fork until it becomes frothy.

Fry the Omelette:
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pan.
- Fry until the bottom is golden brown and set.
- Carefully flip the omelette once to cook the other side. Avoid flipping it multiple times to prevent the omelette from absorbing too much oil.

- Once the omelette is fully cooked, remove it from the pan and place it on a serving plate.
