Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Servings: 4
Cuisine: Fusion
Course: Brunch
Diet: High Protein Vegetarian

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Whole Eggs 4 eggs
Milk 1/4 cup
Onion (small) 1, chopped
Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) 1/2, chopped
Tomato 1, deseeded and chopped
Broccoli 1/4 cup, cut into small heads
Red Chilli Powder 1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder (Jeera) 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder (Dhania) 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 1/4 teaspoon
Salt To taste
Butter For cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by chopping all the vegetables (onion, green bell pepper, tomato, and broccoli) and place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Prepare the Egg Mixture: Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the milk, and whisk well. Then, add the spices — red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Whisk the mixture until all the ingredients are combined into a smooth batter.

  3. Mix the Vegetables: Add the chopped vegetables (onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and broccoli) into the whisked egg mixture. Stir everything together to ensure that the veggies are evenly distributed.

  4. Heat the Waffle Maker: Preheat your waffle maker to a medium temperature. Once it’s heated, brush it lightly with butter to prevent the waffles from sticking.

  5. Cook the Waffles: Pour the egg-vegetable mixture into the waffle maker, just enough to fill the plates. Close the waffle maker and allow the mixture to cook for about 15 minutes. The waffles will rise and take on a light brown color as they cook.

  6. Serve: After 15 minutes, open the waffle maker to check the waffles. They should have risen and turned golden brown. Carefully remove them from the waffle maker and place them on a serving plate.

  7. Enjoy: Serve the Masala Omelette Waffles with a side of Mexican Salsa or a simple toast. Pair it with a hot cup of Vegan Instant Coffee for a complete and satisfying breakfast.

Tips:

  • Customization: Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or adjust the spice levels to suit your taste.
  • Waffle Texture: If you prefer a crispier texture, cook the waffles a little longer. You can also experiment with different kinds of waffle makers for varying results.

This Masala Omelette Waffle recipe brings together the comfort of a classic omelette with the crispy indulgence of waffles. It’s a perfect way to energize your morning with a high-protein vegetarian meal. Whether you’re hosting brunch or just looking for a unique breakfast idea, these waffles are sure to be a hit!
