Stir-Fried Cabbage with Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 head of cabbage
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 5 red chilies (adjust to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chicken bouillon powder (or Royco), to taste
  • Oil, for sautéing

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by finely slicing the shallot and garlic. Chop the red chilies into small pieces. Dice the green bell pepper into small cubes. Thinly slice the cabbage.

  2. Heat the Oil: In a large pan or wok, heat a generous amount of oil over medium heat.

  3. Sauté Aromatics: Add the sliced shallot, garlic, and chopped red chilies to the pan. Sauté until the mixture becomes fragrant and the shallot is translucent.

  4. Cook the Bell Pepper: Add the diced green bell pepper to the pan. Stir and cook until the bell pepper is halfway cooked.

  5. Add Cabbage and Eggs: Incorporate the sliced cabbage into the pan, followed by the eggs. Season with salt and chicken bouillon powder to taste. Continue to stir-fry until the cabbage is tender and the eggs are fully cooked.

  6. Finish and Serve: Once the cabbage is soft and the eggs are cooked through, remove the pan from heat. Serve the stir-fried cabbage with eggs hot, as a delicious and satisfying dish.
