Sweet and Spicy Tahu, Tempe, and Teri

Ingredients

5 pieces Tahu (tofu), diced
1 pack Tempe, medium-sized, diced
1/4 cup Teri Medan (small anchovies)
15 pieces Green chilies, sliced
10 pieces Bird’s eye chilies, sliced
3 stalks Green onions, chopped
1/2 bulb Onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons Sweet soy sauce
To taste Sugar, salt, and seasoning

Instructions

  1. Begin by dicing the tempe and tahu into bite-sized cubes, then heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu and tempe until golden brown, taking care not to overcook and dry them out.
  2. Rinse the teri (anchovies) under cold water and fry them until crispy. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion, green chilies, and green onions until fragrant, releasing their aromas.

  5. Pour in a splash of water along with the sweet soy sauce, then gently add the fried tahu, tempe, and teri into the pan, stirring to coat everything evenly.
