Chicken Teriyaki with Black Pepper Sauce
Ingredients:
- 250 grams chicken breast fillet, cut into long, thin strips
- 1 packet teriyaki sauce (Saori brand)
- 1 packet black pepper sauce (Saori brand)
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 onion, sliced lengthwise
- 2 bird’s eye chilies, sliced diagonally
- Soy sauce, to taste
Instructions:
-
Marinate the Chicken:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken strips with the teriyaki sauce and black pepper sauce. Ensure the chicken is well-coated. Let it marinate for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
-
Prepare the Aromatics:
- In a large pan, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sliced onion. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant and the onions are translucent.
- Add the sliced bird’s eye chilies and continue to stir-fry for a minute to release their heat and flavor.
-
Cook the Chicken:
- Add the marinated chicken along with all the marinade to the pan. Stir well to combine with the aromatic base. Drizzle with soy sauce to enhance the flavor.
- Pour in a small amount of water to create a light sauce and prevent sticking. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has reduced to a desired consistency.
-
Finish and Serve:
- Once the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened, remove the pan from the heat.
- Transfer the chicken to a serving dish and enjoy your flavorful Chicken Teriyaki with Black Pepper Sauce hot, alongside steamed rice or your favorite side dishes.
This simple yet delicious recipe combines the rich flavors of teriyaki and black pepper, perfectly balanced with the aromatic notes of garlic, onion, and spicy chilies. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal!
