Ingredients:

  • 1 bag frozen baby carrots
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • ยฝ cup dark corn syrup
  • ยผ cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Put frozen baby carrots, lemon zest, and dark corn syrup in a medium saucepan.
2 Simmer the mixture over medium heat for 10 minutes.
3 In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with hot water until dissolved.
4 Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir well.
5 Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and the sauce has thickened.
6 Serve hot and enjoy! These carrots are great with fish.
