Triple S Egg and Chicken (Sweet, Sour, Spicy)
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken breast fillet
- 1 stalk green onion (spring onion)
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 cucumber (seedless)
- 1 large red chili
- 1 boiled egg (whites only)
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce or soy sauce
- Salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lime juice or vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- Sesame oil, to taste
- 3 tablespoons hot chili sauce (sambal)
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
Instructions:

Prepare the Vegetables:
- Slice the carrot and cucumber into matchstick-sized pieces.
- Cut the red chili into diagonal slices.
- Chop the green onion into pieces.
- Coarsely chop the celery and garlic.
- Dice the onion.

Marinate the Chicken and Egg:
- In a mixing bowl, combine sweet soy sauce, a splash of sesame oil, ground black pepper, salt, fish sauce (or soy sauce), lime juice (or vinegar), hot chili sauce, and tomato sauce. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Peel the boiled egg and set the yolk aside. Dice the egg white and chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the diced chicken and egg whites to the marinade. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
