Buncis and Tempe Stir-Fry

Tempe 1 piece
Pete (stink beans) To taste
Garlic 3 cloves
Shallots 4 cloves
Red Chilies 10 pieces
Salt To taste
Knorr seasoning To taste
Sugar To taste
Soy Sauce Optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the green beans thoroughly and cut them at an angle. Slice the tempe into long strips. Finely chop the garlic, shallots, and red chilies.

  2. Fry the Tempe: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the tempe until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. Sauté the Aromatics: In the same pan, add a bit more oil if necessary, then sauté the chopped garlic, shallots, and red chilies until fragrant.

  4. Cook the Green Beans: Add the green beans to the pan and cover for a couple of minutes to allow them to steam and soften slightly.

  5. Combine Ingredients: Stir in the fried tempe and pete. Season with salt, Knorr seasoning, and sugar, adjusting to your taste. If desired, drizzle some soy sauce for added flavor.

  6. Serve: Once everything is well combined and cooked through, remove from heat. Serve warm and enjoy this flavorful dish!
