Beef Yakiniku: A Tender and Flavorful Delight
Ingredients:
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, minced
- 1/2 packet of Royco seasoning
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 packet teriyaki sauce
- 1 teaspoon margarine
- Salt, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- 1/2 packet of Ladaku seasoning
- 1 large onion, sliced
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Spice Mix:
Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until aromatic and lightly golden brown. -
Cook the Beef:
Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan. Stir-fry until the beef is no longer pink. Pour in 3 cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil. -
Season the Beef:
Once boiling, season the beef with salt, sugar, and half a packet of Royco seasoning. Stir well and adjust the taste as needed. -
Simmer:
Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer until the water reduces slightly. Add the sweet soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Stir well and continue to simmer, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken. -
Finish the Dish:
Stir in 1 teaspoon of margarine, which will add a rich flavor and help to finish thickening the sauce. Add the sliced onion and cook until the onion is tender and translucent. -
Serve:
Once the beef is tender and the sauce has reduced to your desired consistency, remove from heat. Serve your homemade Beef Yakiniku warm, garnished as desired.
Enjoy your flavorful Beef Yakiniku, perfect for a comforting meal at home!
