Instructions:

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Begin by boiling water in a large pan. Add a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of sunflower oil to the water. Once it begins to boil, add the spaghetti and cook until tender, which may take a few minutes longer than regular noodles. Drain the water and rinse the spaghetti with cold water to prevent it from sticking together. Set aside.

  2. Prepare the Vegetables: While the pasta is cooking, chop the onion, carrot, green bell pepper, and cabbage into thin slices or bite-sized pieces, depending on your preference.

  3. Sauté the Onion: Heat 2 teaspoons of sunflower oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent and soft, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Combine the Pasta and Veggies: Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan with the vegetables. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
