Savory Spicy Beef & Noodles Stir-Fry

Instant Dokdok Sapi Noodles Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of Indomie fried noodles
  • 100 grams of thinly sliced beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 3 shallots
  • 3 stalks green onions
  • 1 bunch of Chinese cabbage (sawi)
  • Salt and sugar, to taste
  • Optional: tomatoes, bell peppers, and chili peppers for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Start by thinly slicing the garlic, shallots, green onions, Chinese cabbage, and beef. Keep them separate.

  2. Eggs: Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them lightly. Set aside.

  3. Cook the Noodles: Prepare the Indomie fried noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and mix in the seasoning that comes with the noodles. Set aside.

  4. Sautรฉ Aromatics: Heat some cooking oil in a pan. Add the sliced garlic, shallots, and green onions. Sautรฉ until fragrant and the shallots are translucent.

  5. Cook the Beef: Add the sliced beef to the pan with a pinch of salt (about 1/2 teaspoon) and a small amount of sugar (a pinch). Stir-fry until the beef is cooked through.

  6. Add Eggs: Push the beef and aromatics to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs gently, letting them cook partially before mixing them with the beef and aromatics.

  7. Combine Noodles: When the eggs are halfway cooked, add the prepared noodles to the pan. Stir to combine all ingredients, making sure the noodles are well mixed with the beef and aromatics.

  8. Add Water: Pour in a little water (about 1/4 cup) and continue to stir until the noodles are evenly coated and the flavors meld together. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, sugar, or a seasoning enhancer if desired.

  9. Add Vegetables: Stir in the sliced Chinese cabbage. Cook for a few more minutes until the cabbage is wilted and tender.

  10. Final Touches: Once everything is well mixed and heated through, remove from heat. Serve immediately.
