Beef Teriyaki Simple Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams beef, cut into your preferred size
  • Water, for boiling the beef
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 sachet teriyaki seasoning mix
  • Sweet soy sauce (to taste)
  • Reserved beef broth (as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Cut the beef into pieces according to your preference. Wash thoroughly.
    • Blanch the beef in boiling water for a few minutes to remove any impurities, then wash again.
    • Boil the beef in a pot of water until tender. Once done, set aside. (For this recipe, boil 1 kg of beef and use approximately 300 grams for the teriyaki dish.)
  2. Cook the Aromatics:

    • Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until they become fragrant and slightly translucent.
  3. Combine Ingredients:

    • Add the cooked beef pieces to the pan and cook until they change color.
    • Pour in enough reserved beef broth to cover the beef halfway.
  4. Add Seasonings:

    • Stir in the teriyaki seasoning mix and sweet soy sauce to taste.
    • Cook until the beef is well coated with the sauce and the flavors have melded together. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Finish and Serve:

    • Once the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened, remove from heat.
    • Serve the beef teriyaki warm with your choice of side dishes.
