Martabak Tahu Telur Recipe

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
10 sheets Lumpia wrappers
1 tbsp All-purpose flour, dissolved in a little water (for sealing)
Filling Ingredients:
2 Medium yellow tofu
1 Chicken egg
3 stalks Green onions, finely sliced
To taste Chicken bouillon powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, crack the egg and whisk it until well beaten. Next, crumble the yellow tofu using a whisk until it’s finely broken down. Add the sliced green onions and chicken bouillon powder to the bowl, and mix everything together until evenly combined.

  2. Assemble the Martabak: Take one lumpia wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the tofu filling in the center. Fold the wrapper over the filling like an envelope, ensuring all sides are sealed. Use the flour-water mixture to help seal the edges. Repeat this process until all the filling is used.

  3. Fry the Martabak: Heat oil in a frying pan over low heat. Carefully add the folded martabak to the pan, frying until they are golden brown on both sides. Make sure to cook them slowly to allow the filling to heat through.

  4. Serve: Once cooked, remove the martabak from the pan and let them drain on paper towels. Serve warm with a side of sambal sauce or chopped chili for dipping. Enjoy your delicious Martabak Tahu Telur!
