MMMMMMMMilky Way Cake Recipe

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour
Yield: 1 bundt cake

Description

This MMMMMMMMilky Way Cake is a decadent treat that’s not your typical chocolate cake. Rich and moist, it’s best enjoyed in moderation, perhaps paired with some extra treadmill time!

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
18 1/4 oz Milky Way bars
1/2 cup Butter
2/3 cup Water
4 Eggs
9 oz Evaporated milk
3 cups Cake mix
4 Milky Way bars (for glaze)
4 tbsp Butter (for glaze)
4 tbsp Evaporated milk (for glaze)
Confectioners sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan thoroughly, or use Bakers Joy spray for convenience.

  2. Prepare the Milky Way Mixture: In a small saucepan, combine 18 1/4 ounces of Milky Way bars with 9 ounces of evaporated milk. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

  3. Mix the Cake Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, 1/2 cup of butter (softened), and eggs. Blend at low speed for 1 minute to incorporate, then increase to medium speed and beat for 3 minutes until smooth and creamy.

  4. Incorporate the Milky Way Mixture: Gradually add the melted Milky Way and evaporated milk mixture to the cake batter, beating at medium speed for an additional 2 minutes. Ensure the batter is well combined and smooth.

  5. Bake the Cake: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Cooling: Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, carefully invert the cake onto a serving plate.

  7. Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 4 Milky Way bars (chopped), 4 tablespoons of butter, and 4 tablespoons of evaporated milk for the glaze. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.

  8. Glaze the Cake: Once the glaze is smooth and slightly cooled but still pourable, drizzle it over the cooled cake on the serving plate. Optionally, you can also sprinkle the cake with confectioners sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.

  9. Serve: Slice and serve the MMMMMMMMilky Way Cake as desired. Enjoy this rich, indulgent treat with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee!

This recipe yields a single bundt cake that combines the flavors of Milky Way candy bars with a moist, fluffy cake texture. Perfect for dessert enthusiasts and those looking to indulge in a sweet treat that’s both unique and delicious!
