Tahu Crispy Ekonomis (Economical Crispy Tofu)
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of white tofu
- 1 pack of Sajiku all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of tapioca flour
- 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- Beef broth powder
Steps:
-
Prepare the Tofu: Cut the white tofu into small, bite-sized cubes.
-
Make the Wet Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine a quarter of the Sajiku all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of tapioca flour, 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour, and a pinch of beef broth powder. Gradually add water to the mixture until you achieve a smooth, slightly thick batter.
-
Prepare the Dry Coating: In another bowl, mix the remaining Sajiku all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of tapioca flour, 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, and some beef broth powder. Stir well to ensure an even distribution of the ingredients.
-
Frying the Tofu: Heat oil in a deep frying pan over low heat. Dip each tofu cube into the wet batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Then, roll the tofu in the dry coating mixture, making sure it’s evenly covered. Carefully place the coated tofu cubes into the hot oil and fry until they are golden brown and crispy.
-
Serving: Once the tofu is crispy and cooked through, remove it from the oil and place it on a paper towel to drain any excess oil. Serve hot as a delicious and economical snack or side dish. Enjoy your crispy tofu with a dipping sauce of your choice!
