Mun Tahu Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 blocks of white tofu, cut into small cubes
- 200 grams of beef, finely sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed and chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, mixed with a little water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 150 ml water (add more if necessary)
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Scallions, thinly sliced, to taste
- Sugar, salt, and pepper, to taste
Steps:
- Cut the tofu into small cubes.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan, then sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add the beef slices and cook until done.
- Add the tofu and water, stirring gently.
- Pour in the soy sauce, fish sauce, and season with sugar, salt, and pepper according to your taste.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture, cooking until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble.
- Add the scallions and sesame oil, mixing well.
- Serve the Mun Tahu while still warm.
