Mun Tahu Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 blocks of white tofu, cut into small cubes
  • 200 grams of beef, finely sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed and chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, mixed with a little water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 150 ml water (add more if necessary)
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Scallions, thinly sliced, to taste
  • Sugar, salt, and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  1. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a pan, then sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
  3. Add the beef slices and cook until done.
  4. Add the tofu and water, stirring gently.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, fish sauce, and season with sugar, salt, and pepper according to your taste.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch mixture, cooking until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble.
  7. Add the scallions and sesame oil, mixing well.
  8. Serve the Mun Tahu while still warm.
