Savory Black Pepper Chicken Stir-Fry

Black Pepper Chicken (Ayam Lada Hitam)

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 100 ml water
  • 3 tablespoons black pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoning powder
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in a little water

Instructions:

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until fragrant and translucent.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the pan and cook until the chicken changes color and is no longer pink.
  3. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the black pepper sauce, oyster sauce, and seasoning powder. Adjust the taste as needed.
  5. Add the sliced green onions and mix well to combine.
  6. Gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  7. Once thickened, turn off the heat and serve the Black Pepper Chicken hot.
