Black Pepper Chicken (Ayam Lada Hitam)
Ingredients:
- 250 grams chicken breast, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 100 ml water
- 3 tablespoons black pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoning powder
- 1 stalk green onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in a little water
Instructions:

- Heat a pan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the diced chicken to the pan and cook until the chicken changes color and is no longer pink.
- Pour in the water and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the black pepper sauce, oyster sauce, and seasoning powder. Adjust the taste as needed.
- Add the sliced green onions and mix well to combine.
- Gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
- Once thickened, turn off the heat and serve the Black Pepper Chicken hot.
